We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been selected for the Environment Agency’s new Property Flood Resilience (PFR) Framework. This project is scheduled to start in January 2024 and will last for up to four years.
We are incredibly proud to have been appointed Primary Lot 1 Partner in 2 areas, the North East and North West, as well as the Reserve Supplier to the Midlands and South-East.
The Framework will be delivered through a regional single Delivery Partner model, aligned to the Agency’s Integrated Delivery Teams (IDTs).
At FPS Environmental our Flood Family® will be the main supplier for Property Flood Resilience Surveys, Options and Quality Assurance for the Environment Agency and all Risk Management Authorities in the North East and North West.
This represents a shift from the former nationwide framework to a more streamlined approach, where a single Lot 1 surveyor and a Lot 2 contractor are appointed for each of the Environment Agency’s six Hub locations. This simplifies the procurement process and fosters better collaboration and partnerships.
“We’re excited to be appointed as the primary consultant for property flood resilience surveys, having previously conducted flood risk surveys nationwide and worked as a sub-consultant for the Environment Agency’s last framework. This appointment comes at a crucial time as we accelerate our PFR efforts to ensure the availability of insurance post-FloodRe in 2039. Personally impacted by flooding in 2007, I’m committed to raising flood risk awareness and mitigation. This role not only furthers our mission but also enhances our company’s standing as industry leaders.”
